Erasing Your Drive

The Drive Erase function deletes all the information on your drive, including any or all partitions you have created. You may want to erase your drive if you no longer want any of the data on the drive.

Caution: Erasing your drive deletes all the data on the drive. Be sure to verify you no longer require the data on the drive before erasing it.

To erase your drive:

  1. Read the warning information about erasing your drive.
  2. Click I Understand.
  3. Click Drive Erase.
