Introduction
============
Lenovo QuickLaunch provides a "Legacy Desktop Simplified Start Menu", it allows user to fully customize a familiar "launcher" paradigm, allows Lenovo to promote key offerings from both Lenovo and 3rd Parties and allows business user's to begin with a very familiar experience;

This version of Lenovo QuickLaunch might also work with other systems that meet
the system requirements. However, no testing has been done with these systems
and no support is provided for using QuickLaunch on any system other
than those listed as a "Supported system".


System requirements
===================
- Update your system to the latest BIOS
- 2G of memory recommended
- Microsoft Windows 8 or higher


Major features
==============
Major features include the following:

- Access and launch Lenovo populate applications or 3rd party applications from main start menu. 
- Access and launch Windows built-in applications from main start menu. 
- Customize the items on start menu, you can add/remove any icons.
- Search keyword from user library which includes Program, Files, Document, and Pictures. 
- Access to the Internet for e-mail, file downloads, and other uses. 
- User can access core Windows utilities by clicking the 'Utilities' button.
- User can access more power functions (Switch user, restart, sleep, shutdown, logoff, lock).

Downloading the package
=======================
NOTE: Read the Considerations section below for important installation
information.

To download this code, complete the following procedure:
1. Click the file links to download the files from the Web page.
2. When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save the
   downloaded files.


Installing the package
======================
1. Click Start, then click Start Search.
2. Type lenovoquicklaunch.exe in the search field (where xx is replaced
   with the appropriate two-digit country/language identifier), then click
   Search Everywhere. This will locate the file you just downloaded.
3. Double-click the xxxxx.exe icon. You may see a dialog
   stating "A program needs your permission to continue". If you see this
   dialog, click Continue.
4. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.
