Painter 7(TM) Default Content Read Me The Default Content Folder contains the default content files that ship and are installed with Painter 7(TM). A copy of the default content files have been included on the CD in a folder called "Default Content Files". These files are to be used in the event that an original default file becomes unusable or in the event that an original default file is accidentally replaced. If you have made any custom modifications to the default content files, copying a new default content file will replace any of these modifications. If you wish to keep any custom content, make a copy of that file before you replace it with a file from the Default Content folder. You can then integrate your custom changes into the new default content file as necessary. To use the Default Content files, copy the necessary file(s) from the CD to the location where the original file was installed in the Painter 7 installation. Note for Windows Users: When you copy files from a CD to your hard drive, they automatically have Read Only properties. You must disable the Read Only properties of the file before using it in Painter 7. To disable Read Only properties, follow the steps below: i) Browse to the location of the file on your hard drive. ii) Right-Click the file and click Properties. iii) Disable the Read Only check box and click Apply.
